Typology
← go back
my full typology: ISTJ (SiTe) sp/so-6w5-694 /R/cOAn Phlegmatic-Melancholic

systems, in order: MBTI (Cognitive Functions), Instinctual Variant, Enneagram, Tritype, Big 5, Temperament

things that aren't official typology systems, but similar: lawful-neutral (DnD alignment) OR lawful-moral (5x5), ravenclaw (hogwarts house)

i don't take typology too seriously anymore (and i'm not super into psychology in general), but it's still a casual interest. i believe in more "free" typology, i think that there are very few "impossible" types and that systems are allowed to be contradictory because humans are complex. it's hard to sort people into very limited categories and expect each system to fit them perfectly!

for people who don't know what any of this means: typology is basically a way of typing people into personality categories to better explain who they are and what they act like. i like it because it helps me to better understand people (and myself!)

it's also worth noting that typology is completely pseudoscience and cognitive functions probably aren't real but it's fun to speculate anyways

for other people into typology, here's my PDB account (i don't use it as much anymore because there is a lot of toxicity and misinformation but :/ if you want it anyways) https://www.personality-database.com/user/1541046 if it's not showing up, that's because you need an account to see other accounts.
